The act of disappearance of the Tibetans people in Tibet is one of the crimes the Chinese Communist Party has committed with their so-called policies and administration. Their intention is to wipe out the Tibetan race from Tibet and also to silence the uproar of Tibetan fighters and activists that have always protested and fought for the independence of their country. Whatever they do, one thing is sure, the Chinese government will never get success in wiping out Tibetan’s race.

Does China know the value of life ? Maybe not because China is only concerned about their achievements in violating human rights and destroying other’s land. Since the foundation of the Chinese Communist Party, the party has tried to invade several countries and violated every rights in those territories. Power is another thing that the Chinese government is obsessed with and to get it they can do anything. The disappearance of individuals or groups is not only happening in Tibet but also in mainland China itself. There are several world reports that claim the disappearance of Chinese citizens in their own land.

Since the illegal annexation of Tibet in 1950, millions of Tibetans have been victimized with the disappearance. Tibetan people are arrested on framed accusations and some are released with life threatening and the remaining are never released and their whereabouts are also kept in total secrecy. However, Chinese authorities claim that Tibetans are enjoying freedom in China. The freedom that Chinese government claims is that freedom, which arrests Tibetan youth for demanding Tibetan language in their study; freedom which threatens Tibetan monks for practising their religion; freedom which force Tibetans to sing the Chinese national anthem and wave Chinese flag and freedom which prohibit Tibetans from celebrating their traditional festivals.

Since 1950, hundreds of Tibetan activities and protesters have disappeared in Chinese detention over and again. Where are they now? Only the Chinese Communist Party knows but it wouldn’t reveal & if anybody raise voice, he would be traumatized.

The Chinese Communist Party must have moved Tibetans to mainland China as no one will have courage to raise their voice there. Or the disappeared Tibetans are being forced to work in the Chinese government factories. But whatever the case, one thing is certain, the CCP is torturing and traumatizing people.

In order to control the Tibetan religion, Chinese authorities in 1995, committed a grave mistake by abducting Gedhun Choeki Nyima , the 11th Panchen Lama of Tibet. The other reason of kidnapping was to openly challenge the decision of his holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama as Gedhun Choekyi Nyima was recognized by him as the reincarnation of 10th Panchen Lama. Gendhun along with his family members were kidnapped by the Chinese authorities within two days of his reincarnation. And since then he has been under Chinese detention and it’s been 26 years of his disappearance. No one knows his whereabouts but only the Chinese authorities have ideas on where they had kept him, what they have done with him and whether they will ever release him.

International child’s groups like Rights International Network, save the child and other human rights groups, over and again have inquired the Chinese Communist Party about the Gedhun’s whereabouts and well being. But every time the Chinese officials have failed to reveal the exact location. The Chinese officials even claimed that Gedhun and his family are living a normal life and don’t want to be disturbed. This is a white lie. The CCP destroyed his life and snatched dreams by kidnapping and keeping him under custody for decades. And now the government of China shamelessly pretends like they are concerned about him. Not a single life is normal under Chinese rule.

Why do the Chinese Communist Party fear revealing the location of the 11th Panchen Lama ? They may be afraid that if he is brought to public attention, the Panchen Lama (Gyaltsen Norbu) selected by Chinese authorities will be rejected by the whole world and the Chinese Communist Party will have to face the accusations and criticisms for illegally keeping the 11th Panchen Lama in custody for 26 years. The Chinese officials on several occasions have revealed uncertain locations of Gedhun Choekyi Nyima that triggers doubt whether the Gedhun Choekyi Nyima is alive or not ? Though the Chinese Communist Party kidnapped the real Panchen Lama and appointed their own Panchen Lama, Tibetans and the whole world love & revere the one chosen by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama. And the Chinese chosen Lamas and leaders will always be rejected by Tibetans. The Chinese act of disappearing Tibetan people has not only vanished the 11th Panchen Lama but also hundreds of Lamas, who are accused for practising Tibetan Buddhism as well as hundreds thousand of lay people.

The disappearance of the Tibetan people in Tibet is still being carried out by the government of Beijing these days. In August 2019, Rinchen Tsultrim along with two other monks from Ngaba County’s Kordo area in Eastern Tibet’s Amdo region were arrested. He was detained on the charges of expressing his views on the Chinese messaging app that helps the Chinese Communist Party to control Tibetans. Since the detention, no family member of Rinchen has seen him in person or through virtual means. The Chinese Communist Party must have moved him to some alien places. Because they know that with the presence of educated Tibetan like Rinchen in Tibet, the Chinese Communist Party will have to always face protests and rejections.

And in January 2021, the prominent Tibetan writer Go Sherab Gyatso was arbitrarily detained. He was detained with framed charges and since then his whereabouts are not known. He has taken part in protests against the Chinese ‘re-education’ programs and also in the 2008 uprising (during the Beijing Summer Olympics). He was arrested in both the protests but this time he has not been released like earlier. The Chinese Communist Party must have killed him as such protesters posed threats to the establishment of Chinese rule in Tibet.

In August, 2021, 110 Tibetans in Janglam village, Nyanrong County in Nagchu Prefecture were arrested on the suspicion of sharing videos of preparations for a local horse racing festival. 80 arrested Tibetan were released with heavy penalties while the whereabouts of 30 detainees still remain unknown. Will they be released or just disappear ? Only the Chinese Communist Party knows. All these detention highlights that the violation of freedom and human rights by the Chinese Communist Party in Tibet have become worse these days. And it also throws light on the fact that the Chinese Communist Party is not hesitant to make Tibetan detainees disappear today.

Tibetan people will never Stop till His Holiness 11th Panchen Lama along with other detained Tibetans are released. All the international Human Rights groups’ needs to unify and force the Chinese Communist Party to reveal the whereabouts and well being of every Tibetans that have been lost for several years.

The Chinese Communist Party must be made to pay for this heinous act and policies of disappearing people. With the disappearance of Tibetans, the Chinese Communist Party is not only destroying a person or group but also their dreams of living a life and also the rights and freedom are snatched away. And snatching someone’s dream and life is the worst thing anyone can do with another person. What has the Chinese Communist Party achieved so far by disappearing millions of Tibetans? Has it got legal control over the land of Tibet? Have Tibetans stopped protesting and fighting for their freedom and country? The Chinese Communist Party with such inhumane policies have proved that it’s rule and administration is brutal and violent. Nothing has changed with such an act, rather the Chinese Communist Party has to face criticisms from every corner of the world. Whole world needs to take a stand against the Chinese Communist Party and force them to stop such acts.
